For those seeking an upscale escape this summer, VEA Newport Beach offers the ultimate daycation experience with its stunning Edge Pool, where panoramic coastal views meet laid-back luxury. Whether locals are in the mood to break a sweat in the state-of-the-art fitness center or dive into one of the bluest, most inviting pools in the county, VEA has it covered. The $750 one-time resort pass grants access for the passholder and a guest to both the Edge Pool and fitness center, valid Monday through Thursday from Memorial Day (5/26) to Labor Day (9/1).

Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa | $163 one-time pass per adult
Guests can escape to a luxurious daycation at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, located in Dana Point, and indulge in stunning Pacific Ocean views. The resort features an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, and poolside food and beverage service, offering the perfect setting for the day. Guests can unwind while enjoying tapas and craft cocktails at OverVue Lounge and Deck, all while taking in spectacular water and sunset views.

Balboa Bay Resort | $49 one-time day pass per adult | $816 Cabana Pass (4 adults) | $1631 Premium Cabana Pas (15 adults)

Balboa Bay Resort, Newport Beach’s only waterfront resort, now offers day access through ResortPass inviting locals and visitors alike to enjoy the resort’s upscale amenities without an overnight stay. Single Day Pass holders gain unbridled access to the resort’s outdoor heated olympic-sized pool, hot tub, top tier poolside service and more for $49. Tiered Cabana day-passes also allow parties to book out the resort Cabana’s for a more private experience. The Cabana Pass offered 4 adults  a shaded 10x10 cabana, sofa and chaise lounge seating, flat-screen TVs, and a mini fridge stocked with chilled Oshibori towels and water. Guests also receive a complimentary fruit plate, passed amenities, and dedicated cabana service with food and drinks available for purchase. Includes a $100 food and beverage credit Monday–Thursday and $200 credit Friday–Sunday. 

For guests looking to host a larger group, the Premium Upper Deck Pool Cabana further includes an expansive 20x20 patio deck setup with seating for up to 15 guests. The Premium Cabana also comes with an increased food and beverage credit—$200 Monday through Thursday and $400 Friday through Sunday. Access runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and includes full use of resort amenities.
